Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Global Trial Manager to lead late‑phase, single sponsor studies at a global level within the Single Sponsor Department. You will drive planning, governance and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timely, quality trial execution.

As part of the Clinical Trial Team, you’ll shape program level documents and regulatory submissions, manage budgets and CRO oversight, and mentor teams across functions to deliver compliant, high‑impact outcomes for stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning, executing and reporting global clinical trials.
• Experience with global cross‑functional matrix teams and stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple studies in parallel.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee Medical Affairs activities from setup to closure, meeting timelines and quality.
• Serve as operational contact for assigned work; build relationships with global stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain study and regulatory documentation; ensure approvals and records.
• Coordinate inputs for DSURs, PSURs, Investigators’ Brochures, and regulatory reports.
• Organise kick-off, strategy, governance meetings with agendas and minutes.
• Manage trackers, panels, delegations, and study/program status.
• Plan budgets and resources; forecast supply where relevant.
• Oversee CROs and vendors; monitor performance.
• Identify and manage operational risk; implement corrective actions.
• Monitor SOP adherence and audit readiness; support inspections.
• Track activities to resolution; communicate progress.
• Promote process improvement and a culture of quality and compliance.
