Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance, clinical research, safety reporting, GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Deep understanding of clinical development and medical safety/monitoring activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a complex environment.
• Excellent consulting, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, people management, project oversight, and strategic decision-making.
• MD or equivalent medical degree with substantial clinical or pharmaceutical physician experience.
• Significant experience in medical safety, pharmacovigilance, or medical monitoring in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Lead global medical safety reviews across clinical development and post-marketing programs.
• Provide medical oversight of safety documentation and regulatory submissions.
• Serve as project lead or medical safety advisor, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
• Present safety findings to clients and cross-functional teams; provide expert consultation.
• Develop and mentor medical safety teams, manage workload and resources.
• Oversee financial, operational, and quality performance of projects.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, budgeting, and client presentations.
• Represent Medical Safety internally and with external stakeholders; build relationships.
