Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Senior Medical Safety Physician to provide global medical safety oversight across clinical development and post-marketing programs. You will lead safety reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate findings to clients and cross-functional teams.

The role requires an MD or equivalent with extensive pharmacovigilance experience, leadership capabilities, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance, clinical research, safety reporting, GCP and regulatory requirements.
• In-depth understanding of clinical development and medical safety/monitoring activities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide global medical safety oversight across development and post-marketing programs.
• Lead medical safety teams including workload planning, mentorship, and resource allocation.
• Present safety findings and provide expert medical consultation to clients and internal teams.
