Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer to lead design and operation of cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on DevSecOps, automation, and reliable, secure enterprise platforms in regulated environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep GCP, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and security experience, partnering with architecture, risk and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Expert in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with strong GKE and IaC experience.
• Proficient in CI/CD automation, GitOps, and IaC tooling.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Istio, and service mesh concepts.
• Solid knowledge of monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience with banking/regulated environments and security controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable GCP cloud platforms.
• Lead enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Define platform standards and reusable cloud patterns.
• Architect multi-region disaster recovery and high availability solutions.
• Establish enterprise CI/CD frameworks and automation.
• Drive GitOps adoption and platform engineering best practices.
• Ensure security, IAM controls, and compliance are maintained.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with architects and risk teams.
