Job summary

Carne Group in Ireland is seeking a Senior Manager for Fund Operations to lead end-to-end oversight of fund operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction. The role focuses on incidents, fund events, currency management, and liquidation activities within a dynamic, governance-driven environment.

You will guide operational strategy for delegate oversight, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in fund operations or related financial services environment.
• Experience overseeing fund events, incident escalation, and service provider performance.
• Strong governance, risk, and control mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end oversight of fund operations activities in line with regulatory obligations and Carne Group procedures.
• Manage incident management processes: breaches, errors, and issues from log to remediation.
• Drive client-focused service, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and foster continuous service improvement.
• Oversee private markets operational activities: capital calls, distributions, investor drawdowns, and related transactions.
• Governance oversight of fund events: dividend distributions, proxy voting, powers of attorney, swing pricing, anti-dilution levy, in specie transactions.
• Supervise currency management and monitor market calendars to support timely execution.
• Oversee liquidation-related activities: receivables, payables, residual cash, account closures, and return of cash to investors.
• Contribute to development of fund ops processes, controls, reporting, and governance for resilience and regulatory compliance.
