Job summary

Legal & General (L&G) in Ireland is seeking a Fund Finance Senior Analyst to join our Asset Management Fund Control Public Markets team. You’ll support fund finance, expense management and management company activities across diverse fund structures, delivering accurate reporting, strong controls and continuous improvements.

This hands-on role suits an analytical professional who enjoys solving problems, building cross-functional relationships and contributing to a growing oversight function.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ relevant experience within the funds industry (fund admin, fund accounting, fund finance, expense management, investment ops or a management company environment).
• Experience with fund expenses, budgets, invoice processing, accruals, allocations, capped funds, ongoing charges or performance fees.
• Experience working with third-party or delegated service providers.
• Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, UK, Irish or Luxembourg fund structures would be advantageous.
• Relevant qualification or experience in process improvement, automation, reporting tools, systems enhancements or Kneip Dataglide would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund finance, expense management and reporting lifecycle day-to-day.
• Review budgets, expense accruals, capped expense arrangements, invoice payments and expense allocations.
• Act as main contact for invoice processing queries and fund expense matters.
• Oversee third-party service providers and follow up on outputs or exceptions.
• Analyse fund expense trends, budget variances and payment issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with financial reporting, compliance, legal, senior management and service provider teams.
