Job summary

Opus Fund Services is seeking a Fund Accountant to apply strong accounting fundamentals in a dynamic investment management environment. You will review NAV calculations, ensure accuracy, and support regulatory reporting across complex funds.

With 2+ years in accounting-related roles, you will collaborate across locations, coach junior staff, and drive process improvements. The role offers hybrid work with in-office days in Dublin and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2+ years in accounting/finance/audit or related environment.
• Experience in fund accounting or investment operations advantageous but not required.
• An accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CA or equivalent), or progress towards one, is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to explain complex information.
• Comfort with learning new systems and technologies; highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for clients, ensuring timely query resolution.
• Review NAV calculations for multiple funds and ensure accuracy.
• Provide daily support across locations to promote collaboration.
• Coach and develop Fund Accountants through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient client service.
• Support regulatory reporting including CB Ireland filings and deadlines.
• Identify recurring NAV issues and drive process improvements.
• Assist onboarding of complex funds and transitions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to boost team performance.
