Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, invites a Software Engineer to join the self-service cloud growth team in Ireland. You will own the onboarding and trial experiences for customers and pilots, contributing to both backend and frontend work.

In this remote-friendly role, you will design scalable features and APIs, collaborate with PMs and designers, and help integrate cloud and Kibana onboarding flows while evolving data schemas to avoid breaking changes.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with backend/frontend of onboarding/trial experiences.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern front-end tech.
• Hands-on experience deploying production software and Git collaboration.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and Elasticsearch/Kibana.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the backend and frontend of the product onboarding and trial experience.
• Design and implement scalable features and APIs in our product.
• Collaborate with PMs and designers to plan and design the features.
• Implement agentic interfaces for onboarding and trial experience.
• Coordinate with Elastic solution teams to integrate cloud and Kibana onboarding flows.
• Design data evolution strategies to manage schema changes without breaking changes.
