Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, invites applications for Senior Information Security Infrastructure Engineer in Ireland. You will own end-to-end ingestion pipelines for security data into Elasticsearch, ensuring the health of Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters and implementing ILM, CCS, and scalable pipelines.

You'll use Terraform and Kubernetes tooling to provision resources, apply AI automations to reduce toil, and monitor data quality and costs while protecting organizational data under

Qualifications

• Experience operationalizing Elastic and Elasticsearch in production.
• Strong knowledge of ingestion pipelines and data quality.
• Familiarity with cloud and security telemetry sources.

Responsibilities

• Ingest security telemetry into Elasticsearch (cloud provider audit logs, identity/SaaS, endpoint data).
• Keep Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes clusters healthy and up to date.
• Manage capacity, shards, ILM, and cross-cluster search.
• Use Terraform to manage cloud resources and Elasticsearch pipelines.
• Develop AI-assisted tooling to reduce toil and improve incident response.
• Ensure data schemas, fields, and costs are monitored and optimized.
