Zalando Ireland Ltd. in Dublin is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own key features across Boards, Profiles and Livestreaming.

You will architect backend services at scale and craft responsive web interfaces for Boards, translating user insights into robust software design. You will work with TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, React, GraphQL and REST, building microservices and APIs with DynamoDB, Kotlin and Springboot, on AWS with Kubernetes and Docker.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.
• Strong experience with React, GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Backend microservices, API endpoints and DynamoDB knowledge.
• Cloud infrastructure with AWS; Kubernetes and Docker hands-on.
• Operational excellence, performance optimization and observability.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: drive architecture from concept to production.
• Drive Boards Engineering: scalable serving capabilities within microservices.
• Collaborate & Influence: communicate with team and stakeholders including ML teams.
• Product Collaboration: work with PMs and UX designers on technical roadmap.
• Promote Tech Excellence: improve code quality, CI/CD, testing and performance.
• Mentor & Guide: mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
