Job summary

Jobgether in Ireland is seeking a senior Design Engineer to own core UI from concept to production, blending product design with front-end engineering for data‑intensive interfaces and AI workloads.

You will translate complex distributed‑system behavior into intuitive interfaces, collaborate with the founding team, and shape design systems, performance, and developer experience across the product.

Qualifications

• Strong production front-end engineering experience with React, TypeScript, modern HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to independently take features from concept and design through implementation, deployment, and release.
• A strong portfolio of shipped work demonstrating design craft and build capability.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and ship core product UI features from early concepts through production-ready implementation.
• Translate complex distributed-system behavior into clear interfaces for developers.
• Design interfaces that communicate execution timelines, retries, queues, state, failures, and system activity.
• Build data-intensive experiences with large result sets, live updates, filtering, charts, and timelines.
• Optimize front-end performance across rendering, data loading, and bundle size.
• Maintain a consistent design system across UI, SDKs, and docs.
