Ayesa Engineering is seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead its flood engineering team in Cork, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, project delivery and client relationship development across Ireland. The role covers major flood alleviation and water management schemes, requiring senior leadership and a track record of delivering complex projects.

• Degree in Civil, Water or Environmental Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with Engineers Ireland, ICE or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years' relevant experience with significant flood risk management expertise.
• Proven experience at director-equivalent senior leadership level within an engineering consultancy.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex flood risk projects.
• Strong understanding of Irish flood risk policy, OPW requirements and environmental legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overall technical leadership to the Flood Risk Management team across all project stages.
• Lead flagship projects as Project Manager or Director.
• Develop client relationships and pursue opportunities with OPW, local authorities and private clients.
• Ensure designs meet Irish/European standards and pass technical reviews and risk assessments.
• Oversee project delivery, budgets, resource planning and tender submissions.
