Job summary

Ayesa Engineering—Geotechnical division in Dublin seeks a Principal Engineer / Associate to lead geotechnical design, client interfaces and project delivery. You will manage teams, drive technical direction, and ensure projects meet time, cost and quality targets while upholding IMS standards.

The role emphasizes business development, client liaison, and regulatory compliance, with a clear path to Chartered status and ongoing professional development in a global consultancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Geotechnical design.
• Has achieved, or is close to achieving, Chartered status.
• Degree or Masters in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

Responsibilities

• Client interface, technical direction, budgetary control and design team management
• Management of relationships with key clients and contacts across the business including client liaison and development
• Management of projects within time, cost and quality constraints and standards
• Management of the day-to-day work of the team
• Champions and promotes professional advice, guidance and support across the business
• Monitors and manages compliance and KPI’s
• Business development and preparation of tender documents
• Estimating, pricing and delivering against work targets
• Adheres to all Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations
• Management of projects in compliance with Ayesa Engineering’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
• Ensure project staff are aware of, and fully compliant with, the requirements of the IMS
