Job summary

Ayesa Engineering – UK and Ireland is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Water to lead wastewater and water treatment design packages across diverse sectors, including commercial, residential, and public infrastructure. You’ll guide multidisciplinary teams, review technical deliverables, and ensure compliance with Eurocodes and local standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent. Master’s preferred.
• Chartered status (ICE/IStructE) or working toward chartership.
• 5+ years of experience in design and contract administration of water distribution systems.
• Experience in wastewater design and water treatment is essential.
• Knowledge of relevant standards, telemetry/SCADA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead water and wastewater design and technical delivery across project stages.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Prepare and review calculations, technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, British Standards, and project requirements.
• Oversee project timelines, team resources, and deliverables.
• Contribute to proposals, bids, and business development activities.
• Uphold quality, safety, and sustainability standards throughout.
