Job summary

Payward is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer to drive pre‑sales activities for fintech integrations. You will partner with sales and our Partner Solutions Lead to run discovery, design tailored solutions, and build PoCs that win deals.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Solutions Architect, sales, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth handoffs and successful customer outcomes across Embed, Ramp, Earn, xStocks, and CF Benchmarks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical pre‑sales role at a B2B API or infrastructure company.
• Proven track record in discovery, solution design, PoC delivery and deal win.
• Fluency with REST/WebSocket APIs, OAuth/JWT, and integration debugging.
• Experience designing complex integrations for fintechs and banks.
• Strong knowledge transfer skills to enable implementation teams.
• Clear, structured communicator for discovery and handoff debriefs.
• Experience writing RFPs and documenting solution approaches.

Responsibilities

• Run technical discovery with customers alongside sales to map architecture and constraints.
• Design tailored solutions spanning existing offerings and custom integrations.
• Scope and build PoCs to demonstrate feasibility and close deals.
• Deliver structured handoffs to the Implementation team with docs and training.
• Execute the pre‑sales playbook and contribute improvements based on learnings.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architect, sales, and partner teams end‑to‑end.
