Job summary

Monzo is seeking a senior technical specialist in Financial Risk within the 2nd line of defence in Dublin. You will support the Director delivering oversight across IRRBB, ICAAP, stress testing, liquidity and ALM, ensuring models and frameworks are fit-for-purpose.

As a CF-2, you will meet Central Bank of Ireland Fitness and Probity standards, and operate under IA Framework Conduct Standards. You’ll provide independent challenge to model development and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to validate and challenge risk models.
• Knowledge of Central Bank of Ireland expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2LoD validation of financial risk models (IRRBB).
• Oversee model governance and documentation.
• Support ICAAP development and stress testing.
• Provide independent challenge to first-line usage.
