Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Senior Financial Crime Ops Manager to join our Dublin EU team. You will oversee outsourced partners, ensure SLA performance, and drive data-driven decisions across FinCrime, AML/CTF and onboarding rules.

The role blends hands-on execution with strategic leadership, requiring deep transaction monitoring expertise and collaboration with data science, product and tech teams. This hybrid Dublin role includes travel to Monzo's London head office and a commitment to delivering

Qualifications

In-depth data analysis expertise.
Strong understanding of daily fincrime operations including AML/CTF, screening and onboarding rules.

Responsibilities

Oversee outsourcing partners for FinCrime Operations and ensure SLA performance.
Monitor FinCrime metrics and drive action with product teams.
Collaborate with 2LOD, MLRO and other stakeholders to address risks.
Lead automated screening, onboarding and transaction monitoring initiatives.
Prepare committee packs and support change implementation.
Coordinate with third-party vendors for high delivery and performance.
