Job summary

DM Financial is seeking a senior financial reporting professional to prepare and review statements for investment funds under US GAAP and IFRS. You will manage the reporting lifecycle, liaise with auditors and investment managers, and ensure deadlines are met with high quality work.

You will mentor juniors, support senior management on regulatory projects, and help drive growth for our Cork City office while traveling for diverse engagements.

Qualifications

• Hold ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification (or nearing qualification).
• 3+ years' financial reporting/audit in funds or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, proofreading skills, problem solving.
• Proficient in MS Office; DataSnipper a plus.
• Collaborative, mentoring, and prioritizing under tight deadlines.
• Proactive professional development and client service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements for investment funds and other entities under US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAPs.
• Manage or assist in the financial reporting process; liaise with auditors, administrators, and investment managers.
• Own or contribute to meeting deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Support senior management on ad hoc reporting and regulatory projects.
• Research accounting standards and resolve complex queries.
• Build strong client relationships and address future workloads.
• Train and mentor junior team members.
• Review and edit financial documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Delegate tasks while maintaining team communication.
• Travel internationally and work on diverse projects.
• Contribute to business development and Cork City office expansion.
