Job summary

Howden Ireland is seeking a Senior Account Executive to build and manage a portfolio of Financial Lines clients, delivering expert advisory support, negotiating competitive insurance solutions, and strengthening relationships with insurers and clients. The role combines new business development with management of existing clients, reporting to the Financial Lines Team Lead.

You will handle Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Cyber and related Financial Lines products, while ensuring

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the insurance industry.
• Strong experience handling Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers and/or Cyber insurance products.
• Demonstrated ability to manage corporate and commercial client relationships.
• Strong technical understanding of Financial Lines insurance products and policy wordings.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse complex risks and provide practical insurance solutions.
• CIP qualification is a minimum requirement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Financial Lines clients across a broad range of industries.
• Provide specialist advice on PI, D&O, Cyber, Crime and related Financial Lines products.
• Conduct client risk assessments and identify suitable insurance solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including directors and senior management.
• Support renewal negotiations and placement strategies to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to generate new Financial Lines business and cross-sell within existing portfolios.
