Job summary

Teleflex is hiring for a Maternity Cover role in the Global L&D Finance operations, based in Athlone. The successful candidate will assist regional logistics and cost reporting across APAC and EMEA, mining large data sets and presenting insights to aid decisions.

Onsite work is required three days per week in Athlone. The role requires 3+ years in a similar multinational setting, a relevant degree with CIMA/ACCA/CPA, strong Excel modelling, and experience with SAP and Hyperion mapping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a multinational environment.
• Relevant degree & professional qualifications (CIMA, ACCA, CPA or Chartered Accountant).
• Strong Excel spreadsheet and modelling skills.
• SAP user level experience.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; English fluency required.
• Track record of audit compliance (internal and external).
• Ability to multi-task and deliver timely and accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Track monthly APAC freight transport cost by mode/destination and forecast extrapolation with Operations.
• Prepare annual standard cost roll within the APAC region and support transfer price accuracy.
• Consolidate Global reports including month end, forecast, strategic and AOP cycles.
• Consolidate and submit global supplemental schedules to FP&A on time.
• Support reporting improvement through SAP to Hyperion mapping.
• Drive standard reporting processes aligned with global groups.
• Manage air freight cross charges for APAC and EMEA.
• Assist APAC FC with HFM/PBCS mapping and reports.
• Prepare annual standard cost roll within the EMEA region and support transfer price accuracy.
• Prepare all consolidation templates for Global reports (month end, forecast, strategic, AOP).
• Monthly analysis for EMEA freight, damages and PPV.
• Assist EMEA FC with EMEA forecast and AOP cycle.

Position Summary

Maternity Cover - 12 months - FTC

The successful candidate will assist the Global L&D Finance operations and EMEA Controller in regional logistics & supply chain cost reporting. The role requires the incumbent to be able to identify, investigate, understand and articulate trends. The successful candidate will need to be able to illustrate a proven ability to mine large volumes of data and present that in a form that can aide analysis and decision making. In doing so, the ideal candidate will need to work using own initiative to enhance existing and develop new reporting.

Must be able to work onsite in the Athlone, Co. Westmeath Office for 3 days per week.

• Tracking of monthly APAC freight transport cost by mode/destination and working with Operations to extrapolate the data into forecasts.
• Prepare annual standard cost roll within the APAC region and support the accuracy of the sending/receiving site transfer prices.
• Assist in the consolidation of Global reports to include month end, forecast, strategic and AOP cycles.
• Consolidation and submission of global supplemental schedules to FP&A in a timely manner.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting through consistent application of SAP to Hyperion mapping.
• Drive standard processes for reporting in line with other global groups.
• Manage issuing of air freight cross charges for APAC and EMEA region.
• Assist APAC FC and team with queries on HFM/PBCS mapping and reports.
• Prepare annual standard cost roll within EMEA region and support accuracy of the sending/receiving site transfer price.
• Prepare all consolidation templates for Global reports to include month end, forecast, strategic and AOP cycles.
• Prepare monthly analysis for EMEA freight, damages and PPV.
• Assist EMEA FC with the preparation of EMEA forecast and AOP cycle.

Education / Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a multinational environment
• Relevant Third Level Degree & Qualified CIMA, ACCA, CPA, Chartered Accountant
• Strong Excel spreadsheet and modelling skills
• SAP User level experience
