Job summary

The Mackin Group is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to lead our in-house finance transformation and consolidate 15+ entities across UK, Ireland, and US. Based in Dublin Hill, the role offers exposure to forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategy at scale.

You will work with the CFO, drive intercompany reconciliation, tax compliance, and implement automation and AI tools to improve efficiency while supporting multi-currency reporting and IFRS consolidation standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in an accounting or finance role, ideally in a multi-entity or consolidation environment
• Proven experience with consolidation accounting and intercompany eliminations
• Proficiency in multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange accounting
• Experience with accounting software
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions
• Comfortable with financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent spreadsheet and data analysis skills (particularly Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage the consolidation of 15+ entities across multiple jurisdictions (mainly UK, Ireland, US)
• Oversee intercompany reconciliation and maintain the intercompany transaction matrix
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes; drive quarterly reviews and updates
• Develop and analyse revenue forecasts and pricing models to support commercial growth
• Work cross-functionally with commercial teams on pricing strategy and margin analysis
• Manage tax compliance across all jurisdictions; coordinate with external tax advisors
• Support external audit process and maintain accounting policies across the group
• Optimise accounting processes and leverage automation and AI tools to improve efficiency
• Work with finance systems (Xero and beyond) to streamline workflows as the business scales
