Job summary

Allied Talent, on behalf of a leading international consultancy firm in Dublin, is recruiting a Group Accountant to join its Irish finance hub. The role centers on monthly and year-end consolidations, intercompany eliminations and multi-currency group reporting across UK and Europe.

You will onboard new entities, liaise with the US finance team on reporting timelines and coordinate statutory accounts and audits across jurisdictions, while driving process improvements in the consolidation cycle

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ~2+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong consolidation experience across multiple entities and currencies.
• Excellent Excel and systems skills; able to manage deadlines.

Our client operates across North America, the UK and Europe, delivering project and cost management services on major built environment projects. The European business is in a strong growth phase, and therefore is expanding it's Irish finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and year-end consolidations for a portfolio of UK and European entities
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, including multi-currency reporting
• Onboard new entities into the group reporting framework as the business expands
• Liaise with the US finance team on group reporting and timelines
• Coordinate statutory accounts and audits across multiple jurisdictions
• Drive process improvements across the consolidation cycle

Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with c. 2+ years PQE
• Strong consolidation experience, ideally across multiple entities and currencies
• Strong Excel and systems skills
• Organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Confident communicator, able to work with finance teams and stakeholders across different regions
