Job summary

Allied Talent, on behalf of a leading international consultancy firm in Dublin, seeks a Senior Accountant with strong consolidation experience to join its Irish finance hub. The role focuses on European reporting, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency consolidation across multiple entities.

You will coordinate with the US finance team, oversee statutory accounts, and drive improvements in the consolidation process as the European reporting function scales.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with c. 2+ years PQE.
• Strong consolidation experience essential, ideally across multiple entities and currencies.
• Strong Excel and systems skills.
• Organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Confident communicator, able to work with finance teams and stakeholders across different regions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and year-end consolidations for a portfolio of European entities.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, including multi-currency reporting.
• Onboard new entities into the group reporting framework as the business expands.
• Liaise with the US finance team on group reporting and timelines.
• Coordinate statutory accounts and audits across multiple jurisdictions.
• Drive process improvements across the consolidation cycle.
