Job summary

Coopman Search and Selection | B Corp™ partners with a growing aircraft leasing business to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant who will join the international finance team.

Newly qualified or up to 5 years’ PQE candidates will gain broad exposure across financial reporting, commercial finance and investment activities, with a hybrid schedule of 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified accountant or up to 5 years’ PQE.
• Big 4/Top 10 trained or industry-trained candidates considered.
• Experience in aircraft leasing, aviation, financial services or investment management advantageous.
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Ambitious, adaptable and eager to take on broad responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation.
• Support with audits and year-end processes.
• Involvement in aircraft leasing transactions and investment activities.
• Cashflow forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Supporting process improvement initiatives across the finance function.

We are currently partnering with a growing business in the aircraft leasing industry to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified accountant or someone with up to 5 years’ PQE looking to gain broad exposure within a high-performing international business. The role offers strong scope across financial reporting, commercial finance and investment-related activities, making it ideal for someone keen to develop beyond a traditional accounting position.

The company operates a hybrid working model with 2 days per week in the office.
