Job summary

Le Meas Executive Search partners with a fast-growing aviation business to appoint a Newly Qualified Accountant to join the finance team in Clare. This is an excellent opportunity to transition from practice into industry with broad technical exposure.

You will report to the VP Finance and take hands-on responsibility for key accounting processes, ensuring accuracy across multiple entities while developing in a dynamic aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified ACCA/ACA with training in practice or industry.
• Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work collaboratively in a fast-growing aviation business.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of the trial balance and general ledger integrity.
• Preparation and posting of accounting journals and transactions in line with deadlines.
• Preparation of management accounts and key financial analysis.
• End-to-end preparation of statutory financial statements, including audit coordination and liaison with auditors/advisors.
• Commercial review of client agreements and assessment of appropriate accounting treatment.

Le Meas Executive Search is thrilled to partner with a fast-growing leader in the aviation industry to appoint a talented Accountant to join their high-performing finance function.

The Role

Reporting directly to the VP Finance, you’ll take a hands‑on role in assisting with managing key accounting processes and supporting the commercial and strategic activities of the finance team. You will review client agreements, determine appropriate accounting treatment, and ensure financial accuracy across multiple entities.

This role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) looking to transition from practice into industry, seeking to broaden their exposure in a dynamic aviation environment.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Experience in practice or industry; aviation/aircraft leasing experience is an advantage, but not necessary as training will be provided

• Highly organised and proactive, with a collaborative and professional approach
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
