GCS Recruitment is looking for an experienced Senior Field Engineer (L3) to support a large public sector organization on a long-term contract basis in Ireland. The role involves maintaining, improving, and securing core IT infrastructure across multiple sites, serving as a senior technical escalation point.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in infrastructure support and systems administration, with advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking technologies. This position offers a competitive daily rate and the potential for long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Level 3 Infrastructure Engineer or Senior IT Support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects and upgrades.

Responsabilités

• Provide Level 3 support across Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, user provisioning, and access controls.
• Support backup, recovery, and endpoint security platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system performance issues.
