Job summary

Apleona UK in Dublin 2 is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to lead Soft Services and drive service excellence. You will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with SOPs, SLAs and KPIs, and manage client relationships to achieve high satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong health and safety knowledge with COSHH and IOSH training.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and SLAs.
  • Proven project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience managing cleaning-related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Soft Services operations.

    We are currently recruiting for a Senior Facilities Manager to join our team to be based in Dublin 2.

    Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

    Main Duties and Responsibilities
    • Lead and manage all Soft Services operations.
    • Ensure delivery aligns with SOPs, SLAs, KPIs and drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
    • Manage projects as required.
    • Trouble shooting and problem solving.
    • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
    • Promote a one-team approach and act on feedback.
    • Contribute to and Manage aspects of budgets, forecasts, reporting, as well as, controlling costs and identifying savings.
    • Support contract variations and additional works.
    • Ensure invoicing process is managed effectively and accurately
    • Promote strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.
    • Ensure adequate safety training levels within the team and conduct audits, safety walks, toolbox talks.
    • Ensure RAMS and PPE compliance.
    • Develop and improve processes, while driving innovation and efficiencies.
    • Monitor KPIs and SLAs and take corrective action when needed.
    • Deliver monthly and ad-hoc reports within remit of responsibility as well as support rest of the team when required by collating information.
    • Improve reporting formats if applicable to meet changing client needs and ensure continuous improvement.
    • Manage suppliers and contractors.
    • Ensure compliance and performance.
    • Engage and company with company policies and processes relating to all aspects of purchasing.
    • Lead and develop teams and manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance.
    • Explore growth opportunities withing team, ensure team receives required support and is motivated and where possible establish succession plan.
    Qualifications and Experience
    • Over 10 years extensive and varied experience working & managing a team
    • Experience implementing quality systems, procedures and documentation.
    • Extensive security knowledge as well as the ability to project manage and multitask.
    • Ability to negotiate contracts and SLA's
    • Computer literate
    • Strong knowledge of health and safety, with COSSH and IOSH training.
    • Ability to manage cleaning related projects from inception to completion
    • Proven experience in managing, recruiting and developing teams.
    • Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
