Job summary

Dublin City Council is seeking a Senior Executive Architect to drive architectural projects within the City Architects Division, Housing and Community Services. You will report to a Senior Architect and lead a programme of architectural work, advising the City Council on architectural matters.

The role involves project leadership, resource coordination, and design team leadership for housing, civic, and public realm projects, under defined SLAs and governance.

Responsibilities

• Project leadership: Leading and delivering projects to which they are assigned in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
• Fulfilling the role of Employer’s Representative on construction contracts.
• Resource management: Managing and coordinating internal and external resources.
• Design team leadership: Managing and coordinating design team members and external consultants to ensure quality, timeliness and cost-efficiency.
