Job summary

Civic is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for our Dublin studio to lead a mix of residential, education, commercial, development and regeneration projects. You will guide a team of engineers, manage client relationships, and ensure projects meet quality, time and budget targets.

We value collaborative problem solving, effective communication, and a passion for sustainable design. The role offers hybrid working with a strong focus on delivering value to both private and public sector clients.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified; ideally Chartered or Incorporated with a recognised engineering institution (ICE, IStructE, CIWEM or CIHT).
• Proven track record delivering projects in civil/structural engineering with strong leadership and client-facing experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams across multiple schemes.
• Take charge of project delivery, ensuring quality, budgets and deadlines.
• Support junior staff development and training.
• Monitor profitability and manage resource planning and billing implications.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to secure repeat business and new opportunities.
