Job summary

SSA Recruitment Group seeks a Senior Design Manager for a leading architecture firm in Dublin. You will lead and coordinate design teams, ensuring high standards across multiple projects and client interactions.

The role emphasizes delivering design solutions, managing deadlines and resources, and mentoring less experienced staff. Ireland construction experience and contract administration are essential, with opportunities for growth on large-scale schemes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in Irish construction.
• Experience in Contract Administration.
• Excellent design communication and presentation capabilities.
• Excellent knowledge of Irish Building and Planning Regulations.
• Experience in either mission critical or commercial sectors highly advantageous
• Strong Revit skills advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to mentor, lead and motivate internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of multiple projects and project teams.
• Strong communication lines with clients to support through all project stages
• Deliver approved design solutions to both project delivery team and client teams
• Drive both delivery team and consulting parties to achieve successful outcomes
• Manage project deliverables, deadlines and resources efficiently and effectively
• Be competent in the role of administering construction contracts, design team lead and instructions to contractors.
• Site visits to provide construction and technical support.
