Jacobs Life Sciences team in Ireland seeks a Senior Estimator to support major capital programmes in Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sectors. You will develop estimates using both top-down and bottom-up methods across feasibility, concept and basic design stages, with on-site cost engineering and quantity surveying experience.

You will report to the Estimating Section Head, drive standardised processes and data quality, lead risk workshops, and collaborate with project teams and clients; hybrid

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Chartered membership of professional bodies is advantageous.
• Extensive cost engineering/quantity surveying experience on large industrial projects.
• Experience delivering estimates for Life Sciences or other advanced technology sectors.
• Strong understanding of EPCM project environments.

Responsabilités

• Produce estimates meeting project requirements and Jacobs standards.
• Develop and execute estimate plans for assigned projects.
• Perform estimate risk analysis and contingency assessments.
• Present and review estimates with project teams, senior management and clients.
• Lead Value Engineering and risk workshops for project optimization.
• Consolidate benchmark data to inform future estimates.
