Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead and deliver major EPCMV Biotech/Pharma projects in Ireland or mainland Europe. You will take full responsibility for safe project delivery, including commercial performance, schedule adherence, quality assurance, and client relationship management.

You will inspire multidisciplinary teams, navigate complex project environments, and uphold Jacobs' culture of safety, quality and innovation.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience delivering EPCMV Biotech/Pharma projects.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on large scale capital projects.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and technical acumen.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct large, complex Life Sciences EPCMV projects from initiation through turnover.
• Provide project leadership and oversee safety culture and compliance.
• Manage commercial activities including invoicing, forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, meeting client expectations.
• Engage with clients to foster trusted relationships and proactive issue resolution.
• Oversee quality documentation, compliance, and validation requirements.
• Manage diverse subcontractor teams across multiple disciplines.
• Apply project controls to monitor progress, risks and performance.
• Lead bid and proposal activities and strategic pursuits.
