Job summary

Uisce Éireann in Ireland is seeking an experienced Environment and Planning Solicitor to support the Asset & Operations Legal function, advising on environmental, land, planning and project delivery matters. You will work with internal teams and external advisers to secure compliant, timely outcomes.

Reporting to the Legal Senior Manager, you will lead the Environmental, Land & Projects Legal function, handle regulatory liaison, and help shape risk mitigation practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 6 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in environmental and planning law is essential.
• Desirable experience in water, utilities or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house legal advice on environmental, planning, land and project matters.
• Advise on water services legislation and regulatory issues.
• Draft, negotiate, review and update legal documents and agreements.
• Lead and guide the Environmental, Land & Projects Legal function.
• Collaborate with regulators and external advisers to manage risks.
