Job summary

Oracle SA in Dublin/London is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to provide technical and strategic leadership across a portfolio of projects in building physics and sustainability.

You will lead a team of energy engineers, mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and guide projects from concept through to practical completion, ensuring compliance with Part L and BER requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in building physics and energy modelling.
• Minimum 5 years in a management role.
• Proven ability to lead engineers and mentor teams.
• Strong client-facing communication and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of energy engineers and team leads.
• Act as the primary client contact presenting findings and solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on building physics and sustainability.
• Oversee daylight, sunlight analyses and oversight tasks.
• Conduct wind and microclimate assessments.
• Evaluate energy systems and BER performance for projects.
• Lead projects from detailed design to practical completion.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
• Develop sustainability strategies for low-carbon outcomes.
