Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Compliance Lead, EMEA, to own the platform's regulatory program across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from our Ireland office. You will translate complex EU/UK obligations into durable processes, reporting, and product changes while advising Legal, Policy, and Product leadership on how we meet regulatory commitments.

• 12+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or related operations.

Responsibilities

• Own Airbnb's platform regulatory compliance program across EMEA, covering EU/UK obligations.
• Translate obligations into durable operating processes and reporting methodologies.
• Serve as advisor to Legal, Policy, and Product leadership on regulatory commitments in the region.
• Own the EMEA compliance portfolio and monitor status and risk.
• Deliver regulatory reporting and submissions end to end with a calendar of deadlines.
• Assess obligations, identify changes, and recommend measures to meet them.
• Define product, engineering, and data requirements to meet obligations at scale.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps and validate outcomes.
