Job summary

European Tech Recruit in Cork, Ireland, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer (Integration) to join their site and contribute to integration, debugging, and triage of cutting-edge chipset technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to verify stability, implement drivers, and triage system-level issues while helping to drive build tools and processes.

This role focuses on integration work and requires strong C/C++ and assembly skills, RTOS experience, and excellent debugging

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years industry experience in embedded software development and/or integration.
Experience in integration, software source control, and testing.
Working knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Experience developing software in C, C++, and assembly.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Python).
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

Interact with cross-functional software teams to verify and debug stability issues and features.
Design and implement scalable build system software and tools.
Collaborate with HW and Systems Engineering to meet KPI targets for power and performance.
Work with program management and product leads on roadmaps and delivery plans to reduce time to market.
Perform image and system-level sanity tests.
