Job summary

Stryker Ireland is seeking an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to design, develop and maintain software for embedded platforms in a regulated medical device environment.

You will collaborate with software, electronics, systems and mechanical engineers, build Qt interfaces, and drive from concept through verification and product launch, contributing to safer, more effective ENT surgical technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science or related discipline.
• 2+ years of work experience in software engineering.
• Experience developing for embedded Linux platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and verify software solutions with minimal supervision.
• Translate requirements into detailed engineering specifications and software designs.
• Develop software components using C/C++ for embedded Linux platforms.
• Create and maintain intuitive user interfaces using Qt/QML.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Generate software lifecycle documentation and participate in system integration and testing.
