Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a permanent onsite role in Cork, Ireland. You will drive chipset software integration, debugging, and triage across SoC platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure stability and performance.

Key responsibilities include building scalable tools, integrating software with hardware teams, and performing system-level sanity tests to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in software integration, source control, and testing.
• Working knowledge of real-time operating systems.
• Strong development experience in C, C++, and assembly.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Experience with build systems (SCons, CMake) and source control (Git, Perforce) advantageous.
• Familiarity with JTAG debugging and Zephyr RTOS a plus.

We are partnered with a global leader in semiconductor and wireless technology innovation. The team is looking to hire a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to drive chipset software integration, debugging, and triage across cutting-edge SoC platforms.

This is a permanent, fully onsite opportunity based in Cork, Ireland.
