A global leader in semiconductor and wireless technology is looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join its Core Peripherals Storage team. This is an opportunity to work on advanced storage technologies across next-generation SoCs, supporting products across mobile, automotive, home entertainment, and embedded computing.
The Core Peripherals Storage team develops storage drivers, filesystems, and tools for SoCs, supporting advanced flash technologies including UFS, NVMe, SD Express, eMMC, NAND, and NOR.
This role will focus on developing storage drivers and software modules across the storage stack, including bootloaders, UEFI, Windows HLOS, and Linux user space. You will work with filesystems including FAT within bootloaders and LittleFS within Zephyr RTOS, as well as contributing to storage flashing tools for development and factory environments.
The position will also involve developing PC-based tools for image creation (FAT, GPT) and flash provisioning, including UFS, alongside supporting proprietary filesystems and modem image modules such as MPSS, ADSP, CDSP, and SLPI. You will also develop and maintain Linux user-space tools for storage testing and validation.
