Job summary

European Tech Recruit in Cork, Ireland, is hiring a Core Platform SoC Infrastructure Engineer to develop low-level device drivers at the hardware/software interface, closely collaborating with hardware designers on ARM and RISC-V processors.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C.
• Knowledge of ARM and/or RISC-V architecture is a plus.

We are partnered with a global leader in semiconductor and wireless technology innovation. The team is looking to hire a Core Platform SoC Infrastructure Engineer to develop low-level device drivers at the hardware/software interface, working directly with hardware designers across ARM and DSP-based processors.

This is a permanent, fully onsite opportunity based in Cork, Ireland.

Key responsibilities for this Core Platform SoC Infrastructure Engineer position:

• Develop and support low-level device drivers directly controlling hardware - digital clocks, voltage regulators, GPIOs, and interrupts.
• Collaborate closely with hardware designers to understand, improve, and implement hardware/software interfaces.
