Job summary

Stryker is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Innovation Centre in Cork. You will design, develop and evaluate electro-mechanical components for next‑generation medical devices, translating clinical needs into robust electrical specifications and architectures.

You will mentor teammates, apply rapid prototyping, and lead complex product development through design and launch while meeting cost and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE or related discipline.
• 6+ years of work experience in a relevant field.
• Strong background in power electronics, RF, EMC and high-energy delivery for medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead or mentor electrical design of components, sub-systems, and systems for medical devices.
• Translate user needs into electrical requirements and architectures.
• Plan and execute complex product development with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and design histories.
