Job summary

ZeroOne in Dublin is seeking a senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for data centre projects. You will mentor junior staff and interact with clients, consultants, and contractors, while shaping technical standards across the team.

You will work in a hybrid Dublin-based role, reporting to the Electrical Director, and contribute to live environment retrofit and large-scale builds across Europe. Chartered status is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years in electrical building services; data centres preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status or pursuing Chartership.
• Experience leading multi-million-euro electrical design packages.
• Strong knowledge of LV/MV distribution, UPS, standby gen, busbar systems, lighting, ELV.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Bluebeam; ETAP/Dialux/Amtech for calculations.
• Knowledge of IEC, CIBSE, BS, IS, EN standards.
• Right to work in the EU.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of electrical systems across projects.
• Prepare specs, calculations, diagrams, and tender docs.
• Review junior/remote team work for quality.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule and contracts.
• Develop retrofit strategies for live data centres.
• Engage with clients and consultants in meetings.
• Mentor Intermediate and Graduate engineers.
