Job summary

ZeroOne in Dublin seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex electrical power systems for data centre projects. You will own MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, earthing, and ELV systems, coordinating closely with the mechanical team.

You will mentor Intermediate and Graduate engineers, shape technical standards, and collaborate with founding Directors to drive excellence across Europe.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; 5+ years in electrical design.
Chartered Engineer status pursued or achieved (CEng/IET/ Engineers Ireland or equivalent).
Proven ability to design complex electrical systems for data centres; MV/LV, UPS, generators.

Responsibilities

Lead detailed design of resilient electrical systems for data centre projects.
Prepare calculations, fault level analysis, cable sizing, SLDs using ETAP/Amtech/Simaris.
Review junior engineer work and ensure technical excellence and compliance.
Coordinate with M&E teams; manage delivery on time and within budget.
Attend client meetings and site visits; mentor Intermediate/Graduate engineers.
