Job summary

Elusav Recruitment in North Dublin is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing Precon division. You will support preconstruction efforts for large-scale data center projects across Europe, with a focus on de-risking, value engineering and extensive stakeholder management.

The role covers design reviews, tendering, procurement packages, and interface with clients, suppliers, and the design team. Hybrid work is available as the company grows in response to exciting demand.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Electrical Design Engineering experience on mission critical projects.
• Experience with data center projects and preconstruction processes.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and liaise with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Familiarise design and drawings to understand project scope.
• Assist in estimates, tender documents and resourcing.
• Review MEP design for alternatives and compliance with standards.
• Support engineering through liaising with key stakeholders.
• Lead design team and interface with client and architect.
• Manage RIBA design processes and sub-contract packages.
• Evaluate tenders for technical compliance.
• Assess construction methodology for programme implications.
• Identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Promote new engineering practices to improve delivery time.
