Job summary

Suretank in Dundalk, hybrid role, seeks a Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to lead pre-construction for modular power and control systems used in data centres, renewables, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities include tender preparation, cost estimation, client design options, supplier coordination, and mentoring juniors. Requires a BEng in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of estimating experience, with sector familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in electrical estimating and pre-construction, with at least 3 years in mission-critical Data Centre, Renewables or Process industries.
• Familiarity with industry players, standards, electrical codes, and building regulations desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical & mechanical cost estimations for modular projects for major clients.
• Provide technical leadership and training to junior team members.
• Consult with clients on designs, recommending cost-effective and efficient solutions.
