Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is Europe’s premier data centre delivery partner. Based in Ballymount, Dublin 22, we seek a Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead the estimating function for large projects.

You will manage quantities, develop pricing with Irish and European subcontractors, and benchmark pricing with data-driven insights. You will mentor estimators, collaborate with CSA and Electrical estimators, and report to the Estimating Director.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years estimating experience on large-scale projects.
• Proven ability to lead a team of estimators and deliver accurate tenders.
• Strong analytical skills to benchmark subcontractor pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical estimating across complex tenders with high accuracy.
• Develop detailed pricing from drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing.
• Present estimates to Estimating Director and the Board.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of estimators.
