Job summary

Mane Contract Services in Dublin is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead complex tendering across power, renewables and electrical infrastructure projects. You’ll manage estimates from enquiry to handover, guiding multi-disciplinary teams and driving commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in construction, engineering or electrical contracting.
• Previous experience in a Senior Electrical Estimator position.
• Strong experience within Power, Renewables or Energy Infrastructure.
• Experience with HV substations, wind farms or similar power infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications and Employer's Requirements.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project risk.
• Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior estimating staff.

Responsibilities

• Managing the estimating and tendering process from enquiry to submission and handover.
• Preparing detailed electrical estimates and quantity take-offs.
• Reviewing technical specs and Employer's Requirements.
• Estimating HV substations, wind farms and renewable projects.
• Coordinating tendering across departments and managing quotations.
• Preparing inclusions, exclusions, clarifications and programmes.
• Reviewing drawings to identify scope and risks.
• Managing multiple tenders with deadlines and accuracy.
• Identifying project risks and commercial exposures.
• Supporting post-tender negotiations and handover to project teams.
• Providing guidance to junior estimators and developing estimating processes.
