A senior electrical engineer opportunity in Dublin with a growing consultancy focused on renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. You will work across wind, solar PV, BESS, and grid connections from design through construction, supporting a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years’ electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with grid-scale renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of grid connections / Grid Codes.
• Experience with electrical project management and construction.
• Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on grid connections and electrical engineering.
• Review electrical designs and tender submissions.
• Develop preliminary electrical designs and technical specifications.
• Support projects through pre-construction and construction.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor electrical works.
• Work closely with project management, contractors and suppliers.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the business.

I'm excited to be recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer on behalf of a growing engineering consultancy specialising in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure. Based in Dublin 2, the company is going through an exciting period of growth, with a strong pipeline of projects across Ireland.

The Role

You’ll work across wind, solar PV, BESS and associated grid infrastructure, supporting projects from early-stage design and grid connection through to construction and delivery.
