Job summary

Lead Group Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects in Meath. You will collaborate with project managers, design engineers and construction teams to deliver projects safely and to specification.

The role requires 3–5 years in electrical engineering, with experience in substations, grid connections and renewables. A degree in Electrical Engineering is essential and site-based work is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years in electrical engineering, preferably in renewable energy, power distribution or infrastructure.
• Experience with substations and grid connection projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the engineering, construction and delivery of electrical infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
• Review electrical drawings, technical specifications and design documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Review supplier and subcontractor technical submissions for compliance with project specifications.
• Assist with design reviews, equipment selection and technical assessments.
• Monitor site activities and ensure installations comply with approved designs and quality standards.
• Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to project management.
