The Opportunity - Senior Electrical Engineer
I'm working with an international General Contractor looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer (HV) to support the growth of its engineering department and deliver a major €400m industrial expansion project in Ireland.
The project involves the second phase of Diageo's Littleconnell brewery development in County Kildare, dedicated to brewing Guinness and Guinness 0%. This is a significant capital investment, offering the opportunity to contribute to a large-scale project with complex electrical infrastructure requirements and access to a long-term pipeline of mission-critical projects.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer (HV), you'll take technical ownership of high-voltage electrical systems throughout the project lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and detailed design through construction, testing, commissioning, energisation and final handover.
This position would suit an experienced HV engineer with a strong technical background in substations, grid connections and power infrastructure, who is comfortable coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing technical interfaces across complex engineering projects.
